What HeyLead Does

HeyLead is an AI-powered LinkedIn SDR tool that helps professionals automate outreach, manage campaigns, and schedule meetings. It runs locally as an MCP server and connects to a backend API for AI processing and LinkedIn integration.

Data We Collect

• Google Account Info — When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and unique account ID. This is used solely for authentication.
• Google Calendar Access — If you grant calendar permission, we use it only to create meeting events on your behalf when a prospect agrees to a meeting time in LinkedIn messages. We do not read, list, or delete your existing calendar events.
• LinkedIn Data — Campaign contacts, messages, and engagement data are processed to run your outreach campaigns. This data is stored in your local database and our backend database.

How We Use Your Data

• Authenticate you and manage your account
• Create Google Calendar events when meetings are detected in LinkedIn conversations
• Process LinkedIn outreach campaigns you configure
• Generate AI-powered messages and analysis via our LLM proxy

Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not read your existing calendar events
• We do not access your Google Drive, Gmail, or other Google services
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties
• We do not use your data for advertising

Data Storage & Security

Backend data is stored on Google Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL) in the us-central1 region. Google OAuth refresh tokens are encrypted at rest. All API communication uses HTTPS.

Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion by contacting us. Campaign data on your local machine is under your control.

Third-Party Services

• Google APIs — Authentication and Calendar event creation
• Unipile — LinkedIn API integration
• Google Gemini — AI text generation (no personal data sent, only campaign content)

Your Rights

You can revoke HeyLead's access to your Google account at any time via Google Account Permissions. You can request data deletion by emailing us.
